It’s about building trust\, communicating purpose clearly\, and cultivating relationships that strengthen your organization over time. \nIn this 45-minute Lunch & Learn\, Dr. Russell E. Thornhill of Antioch University will explore how nonprofits can move beyond transactional approaches to funding by developing diversified revenue strategies\, sharpening organizational messaging\, and deepening relationships with donors\, partners\, and community stakeholders. Together\, we’ll examine how values-aligned communication and authentic engagement can help organizations build resilience in a changing funding landscape. \nParticipants will leave with practical insights\, opportunities for reflection and discussion\, and actionable ideas they can bring back to their organizations immediately. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCost\n\n\n\nThis event is free to attend.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRecording\nRegistrants will receive the webinar recording by email after the event. As a faculty member at Antioch University\, he teaches leadership\, nonprofit management\, and fundraising with a focus on helping students and organizations build sustainable\, mission driven impact. \nGrounded in values of equity\, justice\, and authentic relationship building\, Dr. Thornhill brings a practical and compassionate approach to leadership development. DESCRIPTION:July 13 | 3:30 pm  –  6:00 pm \n\nFree\n\n\nA joint venture between Communities Rise and the Puget Sound Grantwriters Association (PSGA) brings you a free service to increase your chances of receiving grant funding! \nThis grant writing assistance program from Communities Rise is designed to support community-based organizations that serve communities impacted by systemic oppression and do not have the internal capacity to hire a grant writer or have staff dedicated to grant writing. \nUp to 2 members from an organization may bring a request for proposal (RFP)\, application guidelines\, draft proposal\, a proposal not funded\, or questions about grant searching\, and an experienced grant writer will give you individualized guidance. Preference is given to orgs led by communities of color or other communities impacted by systemic oppression. \nThese services are free of charge and available by appointment only.
