She developed her organizational and finance skills as an entrepreneur\, starting and running two successful small businesses in Seattle. Susan honed her skills at Seattle Opera\, where she was in charge of their costumes production department\, managing and meeting performance goals for a $500\,000 to $1 million department. Her philosophy of work is centered in clear and direct communication\, mutual respect\, and supporting others in doing their best work by providing guidance\, resources\, and training. She brings this same mindset and leadership to our Financial Services team and nonprofit partners. For this session\, Susan is joined by financial services lead Joan Carpenter\, and associate Bonnie Steele\, whose profiles are found on our website. \nMargaret Grace Henning\nMargaret is a Senior Resource Consultant at 501 Commons. She is a seasoned HR professional with 20+ years of diverse experience and has led HR departments in organizations of varying sizes\, specializing in biotech and healthcare sectors. With a bachelor’s degree from Occidental College and prestigious HR designations including SPHR\, SHRM-SCP\, and CCP\, Margaret brings extensive expertise to her role.
