The Original Green Company™, Keyes Fibre, and its sister company Wrap Pack, have been running a sustainable green business for decades. Keyes Packaging maintains a commitment to responsible food and beverage packaging innovation made from recycled materials. Proudly serving Eastern Washington’s apple and pear industry, Keyes designated this scholarship for the children of Keyes Employees who are pursuing post-secondary education. It is named after Don Evenhus, whose career with Keyes spanned five decades. The recipients emulate Don Evenhus’ positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Eligibility:
- Dependent children of current Keyes Packaging Group employees who are under the age of 26 are eligible to receive the scholarship; high school sophomores applying for junior year running start and high school juniors applying for senior year running start are eligible to apply
- The employee must be employed in good standing on the date of the award each year
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED or be actively enrolled in running start
- Must be enrolled at least part-time for at an accredited college, university, post-secondary, trade, or technical school or program
- Renewal is possible for recipients; must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and reapply to compete with new applicants
