Marjorie M. and William H. Griffin Scholarship
The Marjorie M. and William H. Griffin Scholarship Fund was established in January 2017 to help those who would otherwise be unable to afford college or other higher education. The Griffins are particularly interested in assisting non-traditional students returning to school after time in the workforce or raising children. The funding is available for any accredited educational program in Washington State.
Application Opens: January 1st
Application Due Date: March 1st
- Graduating senior from any Washington State high school (home schooled students are ineligible) OR non-traditional student returning to school after time in the workforce or raising children
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Plans to enroll in any higher education program within Washington State
- Demonstrated willingness to work to support oneself
- Preference is given to those students participating in musical programs (through school, college, or community programs)
Note: This scholarship is occasionally paid over multiple years. In the case of multi-year scholarships, future payment requires an update showing educational progress and a successful academic year to keep the scholarship in place.
