Rudolph & Carolyn Christianson Scholarship

Carolyn Christianson cared about students getting an education. Through her will, the Rudolph and Carolyn Christianson Scholarship provides on student each year over $14,000 toward their college career.

Although Rudolph and Carolyn Christianson had no children of their own, they felt the importance of supporting the education of other young people in North Central Washington. Carolyn Christianson’s final will provided that all proceeds from her estate go into the scholarship and community funds she had established at the Community Foundation in 1991. As a result, this scholarship is very competitive with over 100 applicants each year from students across Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. The ideal student demonstrates promise and potential in their studies, leadership abilities, and future career choice.
