Volunteer Management: From Recruitment to Impact | TWISP
September 21 @ 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Volunteer Management: From Recruitment to Impact is a practical, interactive workshop designed to help organizations build a strong foundation for effective volunteer engagement. Participants will explore the full volunteer management cycle—from understanding volunteer motivations and targeted recruitment through interviewing, placement, orientation, risk management, organizational culture, and program evaluation. Drawing on NOVAA’s proprietary Volunteer Management curriculum, this workshop provides practical tools and strategies that small organizations and teams can adapt to strengthen their volunteer programs, demonstrate impact, and create meaningful volunteer experiences.
This workshop is being offered in partnership with Volunteer Methow, which is preparing to launch its revitalized program connecting community members with meaningful volunteer opportunities across the Methow Valley. While upcoming Volunteer Methow trainings will introduce organizations to the new online platform, provide guidance on using it effectively, and offer support in building and maintaining robust volunteer programming, this workshop offers complementary training and practical tools for successful volunteer engagement—from creating meaningful volunteer roles and supporting volunteers effectively to building programs where volunteers feel valued, engaged, and eager to return.
