Transform Conflict into Connection: De-escalation Training offered by Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center
When tensions rise, knowing how to respond can make all the difference. The Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center (WVDRC) invites community members and professionals to an empowering De-escalation Training on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, designed to turn high-stress moments into opportunities for understanding and collaboration.
Led by Jennifer Talbot, Executive Director of WVDRC and a seasoned facilitator in conflict resolution and organizational leadership, this interactive workshop will help participants:
- Explore their relationship with conflict
- Gain a basic understanding of the interest-based conflict model
- Discuss best practices for self-de-escalation
- Learn techniques for de-escalating others
- Practice conflict resolution skills for peaceful problem solving
De-escalation training is especially valuable for public and community service organizations, but it’s open to anyone seeking practical tools to navigate conflict with confidence and compassion.
Location: Confluence Technology Center – Wenatchee
Time: 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Fee: $85 per person (includes all course materials)
