The role of a nonprofit executive director is full of opportunities and challenges. All too often those holding this pivotal position may feel isolated or alone on their journey. The Executive Director Gathering provides a space to learn together, support each other, and share wisdom. We invite executive directors, and those serving in similar roles, to join us for an afternoon of shared learning and connection led by NAWA’s Executive Director, Neal Mizushima.

Cost

This gathering is free to attend.

Who Should Attend

All executive directors, and those serving in similar roles, are welcome.

Neal and his family can often be found exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the specific regional foods each area has to offer. He looks forward to hearing specific recommendations from all of our partners across the state.

Aero Methow Rescue Service

GRANT RECIPIENT

Due to being rural, remote, and geographically isolated, we must be prepared to do more than respond to emergencies. We have become a healthcare partner who fills gaps in service. The grant allowed our board the time and ability to work with a Strategic Planner to modify our plan to address those gaps.

My father was a migrant agricultural worker who eventually started his own cherry and apple orchard. He told me if I wanted to live a better life, I had to get an education. I plan on starting a career with the Chelan PUD with a passion for renewable energy and in turn give back to my parents and community for supporting my dreams.
