Lane Johnson Memorial SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Lane Johnson's legacy by supporting students who want to make a difference in mental health and suicide prevention. Lane was a kind and considerate youth with a loving family, many school friends, enjoyed sports, and a love of humor.
This scholarship is to support someone with a passion to make a better world for others who need help meeting the challenges of today's situations and wish to make a lasting impact on mental health in the future.
Application Opens: January 1st
Application Due Date: March 1st
Eligibility:
- Graduating high school senior, undergraduate or graduate student from Chelan, Douglas, or Okanagan county
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Working toward a college or university degree in psychology, social work, counseling, mental health related fields in Washington State schools
- Special consideration is given to students affected by a history of cultural and economic inequities
