WENATCHEE VALLEY FUND

The Wenatchee Valley encompasses communities along the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers, including Monitor, Wenatchee, Orondo, East Wenatchee, and Malaga. The area is growing as new residents come to enjoy its recreation, agriculture, and increasing food, wine, and restaurant scene. Alongside these benefits are many charitable organizations that are working to preserve, protect, and enhance the quality of life for all Wenatchee Valley residents.

The Wenatchee Valley Fund will provide funding for charitable causes that aim to preserve, protect, and enhance the quality of life for its residents.

Qualified nonprofits can apply for grant funding each fall and people who love and care for Wenatchee Valley communities can donate to the fund - during or after their lifetime - to increase the annual grant award allotment.

  • Give to the Wenatchee Valley Fund

A gift to the Wenatchee Valley Fund - during or after your lifetime - provides long term sustainability for Wenatchee Valley Fund Grant. A percentage of this endowed fund is used each year for the grants. As the endowment grows, the grant award distribution continues to provide greater funding for charitable causes in perpetuity.

GRANT RECIPIENT

Due to being rural, remote, and geographically isolated, we must be prepared to do more than respond to emergencies. We have become a healthcare partner who fills gaps in service. The grant allowed our board the time and ability to work with a Strategic Planner to modify our plan to address those gaps.

My father was a migrant agricultural worker who eventually started his own cherry and apple orchard. He told me if I wanted to live a better life, I had to get an education. I plan on starting a career with the Chelan PUD with a passion for renewable energy and in turn give back to my parents and community for supporting my dreams.
