Volunteers are a crucial resource for nonprofits. They build an organization’s capacity by lending helping hands to the mission. They bring ideas, perspectives, and expertise that strengthens how well a nonprofit can get its wok done.
During this session, we explore the system involved in effectively managing volunteers. We break down the task into its parts — volunteer recruitment, engagement, supervision, and support — to leave you with practical tools to implement right away. You’ll also learn about free resources that you can use to train your volunteers about safety and health.
This is an interactive session, so come ready to participate! It is designed for anyone within a nonprofit team involved in recruiting and supporting volunteers. Whether you are a dedicated volunteer coordinator or any other member of the team, you’ll get ideas on how to strengthen your volunteer program.
