The Community Foundation of North Central Washington (CFNCW) is happy to announce that the Waterville Community Fund awarded $9,408 in grants to support local projects that help meet the needs of the Waterville community and its citizens.  

The Waterville Food Bank received support for deferred maintenance to help ensure continued service to local families; the Waterville Main Street Association was awarded funding for the Waterville “Hallmark” Christmas Project 3.0, bringing festive holiday energy to downtown; the Town of Waterville received funding for Swim Pool Park west entry improvements to enhance access and usability; and Together for Youth – Waterville Program was granted support for Together for Waterville Youth Outreach to strengthen connections and resources for local youth. 

“We’re thankful for everyone who gives to the Waterville Community Fund,” says Steve Smith, Waterville Community Fund Advisor. “That support lets us back projects that help our community, year after year.” 

The Waterville Fund is managed by the Community Foundation of NCW and provides annual grants to qualified nonprofit and civic organizations serving their respective communities. The funds were established through the generosity of community leaders and gifts. The Waterville Fund honors Fund Founders Earle Jenkin, Hazel Dorsey, Genevieve Gollehon, Bob and Jane Hensel, and Gladys Helmick.
