Free Funnel Cakes at Prom in the Park

Come to Memorial Park this Saturday April 30th at the Apple Blossom Festival’s funnel cake booth dressed in your prom dress or prom tux and you will receive a FREE funnel cake!

The Keep it in the Valley Scholarship at the Community Foundation of NCW helps to send 15 students to Wenatchee Valley College each year. The funds for the scholarship are raised through the “Cakes for College” funnel cake booth, which is operated by all volunteers.

Wenatchee High School’s prom is this Saturday – this is a great day to get nostalgic and help bring awareness to a great cause.

Dust off that satin dress or that powder blue tux and get down to Memorial Park on Saturday! All ages welcome!

"My father was a migrant agricultural worker who eventually started his own cherry and apple orchard. [He] told me if I wanted to live a better life, I had to get an education. I plan on starting a career with the Chelan PUD with a passion for renewable energy and in turn give back to my parents and community for supporting my dreams.”

Aero Methow Rescue Service

STRATEGIC CONSULTING GRANT RECIPIENT

Due to being rural, remote, and geographically isolated Aero Methow Rescue Service must be prepared to do more than respond to emergencies. We have become a healthcare partner who fills gaps in service.  This program allows our board the time and ability to work with a Strategic Planner to modify our plan to address those gaps.
