Hosted by the Community Foundation of NCW, Give Methow is an annual month-long fundraising campaign supporting nonprofits that serve the Methow Valley. This year’s online campaign runs October 1-31 and supports 50 participating nonprofits at GiveMethow.org.

With a minimum donation of just $10, everyone has the chance to give, and 100% of every gift goes directly to participating nonprofits. Organizations represented in the campaign serve a wide range of community needs, including arts & culture, community service, conservation & environment, education, health & human services, and youth development.

Give Methow first launched in 2015, raising $185,504 in its inaugural year. A decade later, the 2025 campaign raised $940,667 in celebration of its 10^th anniversary. Since its launch, Give Methow has raised over $5.7 million for nonprofits serving the Methow.

“As we enter our second decade, we have 50 nonprofits participating in Give Methow, and they all work so hard to keep our little valley thriving,” says Sara Steele, one of the Give Methow committee volunteers who help make this campaign possible. “It’s inspiring to see our community come together to support these organizations every year, especially on Funday Mondays!”

Funday Mondays have been a Give Methow tradition since 2016. On each Funday Monday, donors who make a gift of $10 or more are entered for a chance to win a $500 Giving Card to spend on participating Give Methow nonprofits. Four Funday Mondays are planned during this year’s campaign.

Give Methow will continue community engagement activities introduced during last year’s anniversary celebration. Throughout the Methow Valley, the campaign will appear at local nonprofit events with opportunities to win $100 Giving Cards. Community members are encouraged to keep an eye out for the Give Methow booth at events including the Bears of Durango film, the Coming Home Celebration at Homestream Park, the Winthrop Folk & Roots Festival, a square dance at the Twisp Valley Grange, and many more throughout the valley.

Donors may give to one or more specific nonprofits or contribute to the “Give to All” pool, which is divided among all participating organizations. This year’s $45,000 match pool is made possible through generous contributions of $25,000 from the Methow Valley Fund, $10,000 from Partners in Giving, and two anonymous gifts of $5,000 each.
