Our staff volunteer each year at the Cakes for College Funnel Cake stand at the Apple Blossom Festival and often times their family does, too! Our Director of Community Philanthropy, Denise Sorom and her daughter Anna made and sold lots of cotton candy today (with instruction from Bob, no doubt!) and Director of Communications Jennifer Dolge's daughter Gwen and her boyfriend Anthony spent a few evenings helping with funnel cakes. We love what the Paine Family has done to create scholarships and the incredible volunteerism it takes to get it done is a direct reflection of how amazing a community of helpers can be!Thanks to staff and their families for taking their time to help raise funds for Wenatchee Valley College students!#cakesforcollege #scholarships #appleblossomfestival #keepitinthevalley #keepitinthefamily ... Due to being rural, remote, and geographically isolated, we must be prepared to do more than respond to emergencies. We have become a healthcare partner who fills gaps in service. The grant allowed our board the time and ability to work with a Strategic Planner to modify our plan to address those gaps.
