If everyone living in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties left 10% of their will or estate to charitable causes – no matter how small or large – our region would have an additional $18 million each year to directly support charitable causes in our region?

That’s quadruple the amount the Foundation disburses now and results in four times the grant funding we currently grant to public schools, libraries, museums, parks, law enforcement, health services, and nonprofit agencies in our region.

The Community Foundation of NCW is uniquely positioned to help support all of your charitable goals. We can provide vehicles where your 10% is put into a permanent, charitable fund to directly support to the causes you care about, and will also provide additional grant-making and capacity-building resources to nonprofits across the region.

Community Philanthropy means we all chip in together. It means every one of us gives something – no matter how big or small – back to the community that has given us so much.

It means we have a very realistic opportunity to create the community we imagine.

It means that everyone has to participate.

You don’t have to be wealthy to Give 10 – everyone’s contribution is necessary to make our community rich in its ability to preserve, protect, and enhance the place that we all love.

How do I Give 10?

It’s easy. Call your attorney today and tell them you want to Give 10 and include a charitable bequest in your will or estate plans.

Since 1986, the Community Foundation has managed charitable funds for individuals, families, and organizations that care about supporting their community. Many of these funds are endowed and will allow the foundation to continue supporting the nonprofit work that makes North Central Washington the best place to live.
