Purchase a Giving Card

Purchase a Giving Card for your friends, families, and employees to support any number of regional Nonprofit or Scholarship funds managed by the Community Foundation or to use on Give NCW and Give Methow.

We have over 70 funds that nonprofit organizations have established as an Endowment or an Agency Advised Fund (unrestricted) for long-term security and growth.

We also manage over 120 unique Scholarship funds established by individuals, families, businesses, and organizations in across the region that support higher education for local students (college, university, and trade schools). Your donation to a Scholarship fund will be added to the current year’s award amount, providing additional financial support to students.

How to Redeem Your Giving Card

There are a few ways to redeem your giving card - you can use it to support nonprofits through our Give Campaigns or you can give to any of the funds we manage, which includes over 70 nonprofit funds, scholarships, grant programs, and general support of the foundation.

Giving to participants of Give NCW or Give Methow

  1. Visit www.givencw.org (open Thanksgiving – December 31) or www.givemethow.org (open the month of October)
  2. Click on the Donate button of the organization you want to support
  3. Enter the Amount you want to give
  4. Click Add to Cart
  5. If you want to support multiple organizations, just click on Continue Giving and you will repeat steps 2-3 above. Otherwise, click Checkout. (If you would like to give more than your Giving Card balance, you will be prompted to enter a Credit Card number after you enter your Giving Card information.)
  6. Click Pay with Giving Card
  7. Enter your Giving Card Number
  8. Your Name, Email, and Phone may auto-populate – if not, you will need to enter this information
  9. Click Pay with Giving Card

Giving to a Fund at the Foundation

  1. Click on the Give Now button at the top of our website (or click here)
  2. Choose one of the funds listed, Search for a fund, or View the Full Listing of funds. Or if you know the fund you want to support, type that fund name in the Search bar.
  3. Enter the Amount you want to give. If you would like to give more than the balance on your Giving Card, you can enter the full amount and you will be prompted to enter your Giving Card number first, then a Credit Card number later to cover the rest.
  4. Click Add to Cart
  5. You can Continue Giving to other fund or Checkout
  6. Click Pay with Giving Card
  7. Enter your Giving Card Number and click Next
  8. Your Name, Email, and Phone may auto-populate – if not, you will need to enter this information
  9. Click Pay with Giving Card

Note: When redeeming a Giving Card you will not receive a tax receipt; the tax-deduction is initiated in the original purchase of the Giving Card or within your payroll deduction.

Since the beginning of my freshman year I have been involved with clubs such as Stanford’s Space Initiative (SSI) and the Society of Latinx Engineers (SOLE). In SSI I built a rocket and launched it.

Aero Methow Rescue Service

GRANT RECIPIENT

Due to being rural, remote, and geographically isolated, we must be prepared to do more than respond to emergencies. We have become a healthcare partner who fills gaps in service. The grant allowed our board the time and ability to work with a Strategic Planner to modify our plan to address those gaps.

GRANT RECIPIENT

The grant provided funds to hire a Housing Justice and Outreach Coordinator to visit rural and underserved areas. Rosie’s bilingual and bicultural skills and experience have increased equity of service. Rosie is building partnerships with local organizations through events such as the Columbia Valley Community Health’s Back to School Drive, as well as posting yard signs.

My father was a migrant agricultural worker who eventually started his own cherry and apple orchard. He told me if I wanted to live a better life, I had to get an education. I plan on starting a career with the Chelan PUD with a passion for renewable energy and in turn give back to my parents and community for supporting my dreams.
